Estimator/Project Manager – Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry
EFY Sales, LLC is a WBE-certified supplier of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, custom casework, bathroom accessories, and specialty items for General Contractors, Developers, Landlords, and Property Managers. Based in NYC, EFY specializes in multi-family projects, particularly in the affordable housing sector.

Important Note:

EFY will only consider candidates with demonstrated experience in the kitchen and bath cabinetry industry. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

Position Overview:

The Estimator/Project Manager (EPM) provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to EFY’s operations. The EPM is responsible for project estimating, ordering, budget adherence, and coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and extract all cabinet, fixture, and material requirements from architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets and develop work timetables.
  • Engage with clients to define project scope and clarify deliverables.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to determine project profitability.
  • Support the sales team through technical expertise and timely follow-ups.
  • Specify material types, quantities, and associated costs for each project.
  • Identify and clarify gaps in information through RFIs.
  • Submit final bid packages after internal review and approval.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, client project managers, and site supervisors.
  • Conduct field measurements and generate or review shop drawings.
  • Provide value engineering options when requested.
  • Liaise with vendors and manufacturers regarding orders, deliveries, and issues.
  • Manage the transfer of samples to clients.
  • Suggest process improvements to reduce discrepancies between estimates and actuals.
  • Work collaboratively with EFY’s leadership to strengthen company-wide capabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes and AIA division formats.

Required Industry Experience:

  • Candidates must have direct experience in the kitchen and bath cabinetry industry.
  • Familiarity with cabinet systems, design processes, and related materials is essential.
  • Experience in supply coordination for multi-family or affordable housing projects is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of the construction and real estate industries, with emphasis on NYC multi-family and affordable housing.
  • Confident managing people and leading processes, with a dedication to quality and follow-through.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, 20/20 Kitchen Design, Mosaik, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator—both verbal and written.
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented; capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Client-service mindset with a positive, professional demeanor.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in cabinetry, construction, or interior renovations.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, especially Excel.
